Chase Mangrum, PA
Chase Mangrum is a Certified Physician Assistant. She was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. As an avid youth soccer player, she experienced several significant orthopedic injuries that resulted in the need for orthopedic surgery. This experience introduced her to the world of orthopedic medicine and inspired within her a desire to pursue a career in medicine. Chase earned an undergraduate degree at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. During this time, she participated in medical mission work in Haiti and completed a summer medical missions’ internship in Guatemala working in clinical and surgical settings. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.
After receiving an undergraduate degree, Chase returned to Harding University to attend the Physician Assistant Program. During this intense 28-month program, she learned medical knowledge and gained hands on experience throughout all fields of medicine, including orthopedic surgery and plastic surgery. After graduating with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, she returned home to Memphis. Chase began work at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics, a world-renowned leader in orthopedic surgery, focusing on the subspecialty of hand, wrist, and elbow.
Chase joined the Hand Center of Nevada in 2024 after moving cross country. As an experienced upper extremity PA-C, Chase is excited to provide care for the residents of Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas. As an active member of the healthcare team, she can diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses that require nonoperative treatment such as ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications and physical therapy, or administering injections. Additionally, she works closely with our hand surgeons to coordinate care for surgical patients inside and outside the operating room.
