Hand Center of Nevada is pleased to announce that we are now offering micro-invasive ultrasound guided carpal tunnel releases. Dr. Micev and Dr. Vahey are fellowship trained and certified in the new technique. We strive to offer our patients the newest and most up to date surgical techniques.
The procedure can be performed painlessly in minutes either under local anesthesia, just like going to the dentist, or mild sedation. The procedure is micro invasive meaning there are no stitches to remove! Most people can resume normal use of the hand within a couple of days! Most patients do not take any medication for pain afterwards.
